What will Change in my Business in 2020
19. January 2020
The new year is already (almost) three weeks old.
We have had time to review the last year and learn from our fails and achievements.
We have also thought about our plans and goals for 2020 and the steps we need to take in order to achieve them.
With these steps, we will make changes. Maybe only millimetre shifts, maybe even a quantum leap, but changes there will be.
If this thought frightens you, bear in mind that change is the only constant in life and if we do not change regularly by ourselves, change will come from the outside and not necessarily in the way we were hoping for.
In order to have some control over my changes, I decided to take the bull by its horns and implement them myself. Here we go:
Obviously, I started a blog. This blog. Otherwise you would not read this text – or at least not in this format. And you know what? I really enjoy it! Who would have thought that writing could actually be fun? Not me, I assure you.
It’s a bit like learning how to sing: at first you have to learn the basics and technicalities and you have your difficulties and struggles with them; but over time you become more experienced and master the techniques and this is when you start to transform craft into art. Well, I am very far from saying that my posts are art (yet! 😉😊).
Nevertheless, I have vowed to post regularly once a week.
So, stay curious, keep looking out for new texts and feel free to send me an email with your feedback or topics you would like me to discuss. I enjoy hearing from you!
I am planning to update my website, both as far as design but also as far as content is concerned. The theme is no longer convenient for what I want, and I am very grateful that I have a webdesigner who helps me coming to a decision and who will do all the technical stuff for me. Honestly, I would be lost!
It’s also time to go over some of my texts. Sometimes, I simply do not like the wording any more, sometimes I want to add explanations to explain in more detail what I mean. And some texts, I could imagine, will simply be kicked out and replaced by new ones.
Prices and packages
On March 1, 2020, I will raise my prices.
The price for one hour of pronunciation coaching lessons with me will rise from 75 € to 100 €.
Additionally, I will offer packages of four 1-hour coaching lessons for 300 € instead of 400 € so you can have those four hours for the original price and save 100 € compared to the new one!
All lessons booked before March 1 (no matter when they are scheduled) are available for the “old” price of 75 €.
If you have been toying with the idea of taking German pronunciation lessons or know you have something you want to work on with me, this would be a good opportunity to dive right in and actually save some money!
If, on the other hand, you are not sure, whether pronunciation lessons will be the right thing for you, schedule a fifteen-minute-call with me. There, we can talk about your challenges and aims and if and how I could support you in getting where you want to be. This call is free of charge and free of obligation.
As I mentioned in my last blog post, I am thinking about doing a pronunciation challenge online. I am still in the brainstorm-and-research phase about a way to approach all voices in one go and in what format it will be.
However, things have become a good deal clearer and I’ll soon dive into “production mode”. Stay curious and if you have not done so already, think about subscribing to my newsletter to receive information first.
Also, if you have any suggestions regarding the challenge, any special topics you would love to learn more about or any specific pronunciation issues, please let me know.
I am looking forward to hearing from you!
